If you contact the business office as a rental customer and request a Rently Daily Access Code, stating that you are concerned about giving your credit card information to Rently (or stating any other reason), then your request will be denied.
Requesting a Rently Daily Access Code fits a pattern known to law enforcement and the industry as an attempt to commit fraud. While the Broker does not determine the motive of any particular caller requesting a code, the Broker considers his contractual obligation to his client (the property owner) to secure the property far greater than any obligation to accommodate the request of a customer.
The Broker is not an attorney and the above is not set forth as legal advice. If you have questions or concerns about your rights as a rental customer, contact an attorney.
