Situations Where the Broker Requires Parties to Sign a
Limited Consensual Dual Agency Agreement

There are two situations that can occur where the Broker will require that both parties to a transaction sign a Limited Consensual Dual Agency Agreement:

  • When a Buyer asks the Broker to show a property for sale that the Broker has listed, then the Broker will require both parties to sign a Limited Consensual Dual Agency Agreement before the Broker agrees to show the Buyer the property.
  • When the Tenant of a property that the Broker manages requests that the Broker represent them in making an offer to purchase the property they are leasing, then the Broker will require both parties to sign a Limited Consensual Dual Agency Agreement.
